The Mercer County P.V.A. Office welcomes Georgia Ellis as a new staff member.  Georgia, a native Mercer Countian, accepted the position of General Deputy Principal and joined the office on September 1, 2011. Georgia has a genuine desire to serve the citizens of Mercer County; so please stop by the office and welcome Georgia and she will be happy to assist you.

 

Recently, at the 93rd Conference on Assessment Administration, David Best, Mercer County PVA, received the designation of Senior Kentucky Assessor.  To attain the designation, candidates must have attained the Certified Kentucky Assessor Designation, have a minimum of (5) five years experience with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet Department of Revenue, successfully completed 120 hours of educational courses through the Department of Revenue and 90 hours of educational courses through the International Association of Assessing Officers.
